Let Me explain the selection process... TCS decided to have two different process and approaches for the selection process. One for those who have consistent performance from 10th onwards till the VI semester undergraduate engineering students (75% and above) and the same was also applicable to those from post graduate disciplines. These students were interviewed without being administered test. On the contrary, only those who had maintained consistent performance
of 60% tHRoughout were administered online test and were later interviewed.

Hi Everyone,

On 26th September we had infosys placement which is a pool drive consisting of three colleges and there were about 700 members. I felt very nervous after seeing the crowd. Our reporting time was 8.00 a.m and eligibility criteria was 68% candidates having less than 68% were not allowed to write written even if You have 67.99% because one of my friend had 67.83% and was not allowed. We were informed to have a pre-placement talk but due to some reason at 10 pm we were sent to write the written test.the written test followed same pattern .two papers were given to us

• Logical and Reasoning
• Verbal-English

First we were to solve analytical and reasoning paper consisting of 30 Question to be solved in 40 mints. Then these papers were collected and verbal paper was given which contained 40 Question to be solved in 35 min and were collected . The analytical and logical reasoning Question were from verbal and non verbal reasoning by R.S.Agarwal. There were Question on  pick the odd figure out (very easy), 2 puzzles (very easy but time taking), syllogism (also easy), data sufficiency very easy needs simple preparation from quantitative by R.S.Agarwal), data interpretation (easy and lengthy .a table was given and 5 Question were asked on it)

Hi, All I Attended TCS Campus Interview on 28th of August. Among 700. 430+ Students were short listed through written test. After that technical round which includes even MR interview and the final round is HR and the results were announced on the Next Day 31 August Total 301 were selected and My Name is the Second one. I Felt very happy and I want Share some of my experiences and my strict advice to anyone who are seeking for TCS just prepare previous papers because TCS written test is through touchstone database more than 1 lakh questions will be saved in that which are of same model with a difference in numerical. So just concentrate on previous papers. I am sharing my Interview Experience My Interview went on like this.

Me: May I come in sir

Interviewer : Yes

Me: Good evening sir (Wished)

Interviewer: Very good evening take your seat

Me: Thank you sir

Interviewer: Tell me about yourself

Me: told

Interviewer: Why there is a decrease in % from intermediate to B.Tech

Me: yes sir there is a fine decrement. Upto intermediate i used to concentrate on academics at that time my ultimate goal is gaining seat in a best college and i achieved it

Interviewer: Oh do you think KLCE is d best college?

Me: YES sir

(Continued the question saying) The moment i entered into engineering i realized that for a student to become successful all round development should be there just the academics is not enough. Now I am a good public speaker, good communicator sir

Interviewer: Ohh then you are a good public speaker?

Me: Yes sir

Interviewer: Who is your class topper and what is his/hers %

Me: Told

Interviewer: Then there is a variation of almost 10%

HCL TECHNOLOGIES visited GBPEC, Pauri on 27th and 28th sep 2011. 150 students appeared out of which 19 were selected.

Branches eligible : CSE, ECE, ELECTRIAL, MCA

Eligibility criteria: min 60% in 10th 12th and BTECH with no standing standing backlogs

CTC offered: 3.25L per annum

Number of rounds: Two

Round 1: Online Test (90mins)

The online written paper (conducted by aspiring minds) comprised 3 sections. There were 75 questions and total duration was 90mins,each section had a different time limit.

1. The Probability to observe atleast one vehicle in 30 minutes on the high way is 0.784, then what is the prob.. to observe atleast one veficle in 10 mins?

Ans: 0.784 only..... bcz prob does not depend on quantity, time..etc

Hi Friends. CTS Came to My College on 18.09.2011.There were 1350 students appeared for CTS in our collage out of that 1031 students cleared the test and finally 586 students got selected. Now I want to tell you something about Aptitude Test. It had two parts, analytical and verbal, for analytical part practice R. S Aggarwal. It is more than enough.
