Hi friends,
I am Suresh Kumar, I attend the TCS interview on 18, 19 march 2010. I am doing final year MCA in Bishop Heber College, Trichy. Nearly 400 students attend this interview out of this 3 persons only selected. I am not selected(Promise) in that interview but I want to share my experience in that interview. There are 2 members came to my college. They first conduct a pre-placement talk up to 1.30 hour, conducted by the person named Christopher. Only two rounds are conducted. 

Two Rounds
    i) Aptitude test
    ii) Technical round

In first round as usual 3 sections NO –Ve, NO Sectional CUT OFF. I don’t know even one word in verbal now and in exam also. 10 sys, 10 ant, one passage with 6 fill in the blanks, and then 2nd passage like the same. Bt i know most of the answers in one person question who is nearest to me in exam they had most of the questions from this site from previous quest papers. Before completing one section it opened the next section that is aptitude.

I did it well (I think) 'cz I am a mathematics student in my UG. Some of the questions are:
1) To travel 2.6 miles $ 2.25 is charged and the tax is $0.34 for 2/5 th mile. That means how much to travel 3.6 miles? I made mistake in this question during exam.

2) The area of a square is 36X2, what is the side of a square? Ans: 6X

3) Same as above bt rectangle 81X2, one side is 27X, next is? Ans:3X

4) Six quest from Data sufficiency typed questions

5) X-y-z is odd, y-z is even then which is true?;

Objectives like this X is odd/ z is even

6) age quest one (easy)

7) Algebra problems with x, y 3( also easy)

8) Diagrammatic 2 ques.

9) Probability 2 quest out of this one is tuff.

These only I remembered.

And then critical 2 from barrons book. Most of them in this site said it bt I didn’t prepare it ‘cz I prepare only apps… Bt I feel too bad after that interview. The two passage are  First one is democratic, conservative like this. Second one is george, carol, Helga,host and hostless in model ques 2(8-12). THAT’S IT…. First believe ur talents and prepare apps well, after barrons model question paper some of my friends get verbal from that only bt they realized after the exam only. ALL THE BEST FRIENDS……
